Jennifer Van Wagner

Jennifer Van Wagner is Vice President of Heller Pension Associates and oversees the firm’s daily operations while continuing to work closely with clients on retirement plan administration and consulting. 

Jennifer is responsible for contribution calculations, plan valuations, regulatory compliance, and client consulting, and plays a key role in managing staff, training team members, and coordinating the firm’s technical work. Jennifer also assists with IRS and Department of Labor audits and correspondence, ensuring plans are administered accurately and in accordance with current regulations.

Jennifer has been with Heller Pension Associates for more than 35 years and is an integral part of the firm’s long-standing reputation for technical expertise, reliability, and personalized service. Her decades of experience allow her to guide clients, financial advisors, and CPAs through complex plan matters with confidence and precision.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Mount Saint Mary College and maintains several professional credentials through the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA), including Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Certified Pension Consultant (CPC). She is also an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) with the Internal Revenue Service, allowing her to represent clients before the IRS on retirement plan matters.

Outside of work, Jennifer is active in fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and the American Heart Association. She enjoys traveling and researching genealogy.
